  • 1938
    Established as the Tanashi Forging Factory of Nakajima Aircraft Metals Co., Ltd.
  • 1945
    Produced forged parts for Zero Fighters and other aircrafts
  • 1952
    Resumption of the aviation industry in Japan
  • 1955
    Re-founded as Nittoku Metals Industry Co., Ltd.
  • 1956
    T-Began supplying forged parts for T-33 and resumed supplying parts for defense aircraft
  • 1975
    Began production of the first titanium alloy blades for the F1 fighter engine Adour
  • 1979
    Installed a 6,300-ton screw press
  • 1982
    Consolidated with Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd.
  • 1987
    Began delivery of blades/vanes for V2500
  • 1991
    Installed a 9,000-ton screw press

    Separated and became independent as Sumiju Precision Forging Co., Ltd.
